Abdeslam ABABOU

Abdeslam is Founder Partner of Red Med Finance since 2004. He has 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and has led several consulting missions, capital development and restructuring transactions. His client portfolio includes major international and national groups working in telecommunications, energy, transport, environment, retail and food industry.

Abdeslam is as well President and Founder of Red Med Asset Management founded in 2011 and President Co Founder  of Red Med Private Equity founded in 2020. In August 2021, he became President of Red Med Securities, a Brokerage&Custody company.

Abdeslam is also a board member of several companies in the renewable energy sector, finance, tourism, agro-industry and mechanical engineering.

Between 2000 and 2003 he was co-founder and CEO of Advisory & Finance Group and President and co-founder of Advisory Asset Management. Abdeslam began his career in 1990 at Bank Paribas Paris and London. He left in 2000 as manager of mergers & acquisitions department.

Abdeslam holds an engineering degree from ENSEEIHT France.

Vice-President

Khalil EL YAMANI

Khalil holds the position of Vice President at Red Med Capital.

He joined Red Med Asset Management in August 2017 as Director of Strategy & Development and then served as the General Director from November 2017 to the end of 2023. Khalil has over fifteen years of experience in the field of asset management.

He was Managing Director of Valoris Management from 2013 to 2017, where he managed all the operational aspects: front office, back office, middle office internal control, analysis & research, as well as the commercial aspect with a portfolio of leading institutional clients and large companies.

From 2010 to 2013, Khalil was responsible of the front office covering bond and equity management at Valoris Management.

Khalil holds a bachelor’s degree from Al Akhawayn University in finance and a master’s degree in international financial management.

Mohamed Nasset

Mohamed is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Red Med Private Equity since September 2020.

Mohamed is in charge of the management team, to which he brings nearly 15 years of experience in financial transactions, first at EY in Paris as a Transaction Services consultant and then as Manager of Corporate Finance. Before that, he was in charge of Corporate Finance for 16 countries in Francophone Africa at Deloitte Financial Advisory in Casablanca.

Mohamed has to his credit more than 30 transactions in Morocco and internationally.

Mohamed is a graduate engineer from the ESTP in Paris.

Hamza TAOUDI BENKIRANE

Hamza TAOUDI BENKIRANE joined Red Med Securites in December 2023 as Managing Director. Hamza has more than fifteen years of experience in stock market brokerage.

Before joining RMS, he was Front Office Director of CDG Capital Bourse from 2019 to 2023 where he managed the entire sales strategy.

From 2016 to 2019, Hamza was responsible for the Front Office desk at CDMC (Crédit du Maroc Capital).

From 2014 to 2016, Hamza was responsible for the Front Office Desk at BMCI Bourse. Before that, Hamza held positions as a broker between 2007 and 2011 at Atlas Capital Bourse and between 2011 and 2013 at Capital Trust Securities.

Hamza holds a Master’s degree in management from ESG, and MBA in Islamic finance from UIC.

GENERAL MANAGER REAL ESTATE

Tawfik SOULAMI

With over 20 years’ experience in managing major projects, Tawfik Soulami joined Red Med Real Estate in March 2024 as Support Director. In this role, he is mainly responsible for the administrative and legal aspects of SPVs, as well as purchasing, and is now the Managing Director as of February 2025.

Prior to joining Red Med Real Estate, he was Director of Development at an investment fund from August 2016, playing a crucial role in the development of two major projects and overseeing an investment portfolio of more than MAD 2.4 billion.

At New Marina Casablanca, CDG Group, from 2010 to 2016, he led the implementation of investment strategies for a portfolio of over 2 billion dirhams and oversaw the development of various programmes.

MFrom 2004 to 2010, Tawfik worked at the Fonds d’Équipement Communal as an Analyst in charge of projects, where he evaluated infrastructure and superstructure projects for local authorities.

He began his career at the Bureau de Recherches et de Participations Minières, where he was responsible for carrying out technical and economic feasibility studies for mining projects.

A graduate of the Mohammedia School of Engineering in 2002, Tawfik has solid expertise in financial management, team management and corporate strategy.

General Manager

Amine IBA

Amine Iba joined the Red Med Corporate Finance team in 2018 as a Manager, playing a key role in launching and closing several capital market transactions. He also managed strategic projects in the energy sector. His expertise and commitment earned him a promotion to Director of Capital Markets in 2021. Since May 2024, Amine has been appointed as the General Manager of Red Med Corporate Finance.

Before joining Red Med Capital, Amine spent eight years at CDG Capital in the Corporate Finance and Debt Capital Markets divisions. His tenure at CDG Capital was marked by significant successes in managing innovative and complex financial transactions for major public and private groups.

Amine graduated from Cass Business School with a Master of Science (MSc) in Banking and International Finance and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Al Akhawayn University.

He has also completed specialized training in corporate finance at HEC Paris and in renewable energy financing at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Additionally, Amine holds a certification in green hydrogen and renewable energies from the Renewables Academy AG.

Sofia MANSOURI

Sofia joined the team of Red Med Finance in May 2011.

She has led several corporate projects, in the pharmaceutical, health, mining and renewable energy industries.

Between 2009 and 2011, Sofia was in charge of the automotive industry in the Marketing & Strategy Department of the Moroccan Investment Development Agency (AMDI). Between 2004 and 2009, Sofia was CFO of Platinium Music, a production and music distribution company licensed by Universal Music France. From 2001 to 2002, Sofia worked as a Project Manager at the Canadian International Development Agency.

Sofia graduated from UQAM in Montreal, holds a BA in Management Accounting and a Master in Corporate Finance. Sofia holds a Certificate in English Language from McGill University and a Certificate in Corporate Strategy issued by HEC Paris.

General Manager

Marouane EL YAMANI

Marouane joined the team at Red Med Asset Management in May 2017 as the head of bond and equity fund management, focusing on optimizing portfolio returns while maintaining a secure approach that meets the specific needs of clients. With his experience and expertise, Marouane was promoted to the position of General Director starting January 1st, 2024. This role demonstrates his significant contribution to the company and the trust the firm places in his strategic vision for the future.

Marouane was at CDG Capital trading floor as ‘sales’ multi-asset between 2013 and 2017. He participated in various bond raisings of the largest Moroccan institutions (OCP, ONCF, ONEE …) and in the management of a Market Making bond portfolio of MAD 2.5 billion.

Marouane was also assistant fund manager for a year at Allianz Global Investors (AGI Paris).

Marouane has obtained a Magisterium in Banking Finance from Panthéon-Assas Paris II University and also holds a Master 2 in Financial and Banking Techniques.

Director - Mergers & Acquisitions

Amine ALAMI MESMOUDI

Amine joined Red Med Finance team in July 2016.

Since then, he has been in charge of the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activity and supports companies in their merger, acquisition, or disposal operations, particularly in the renewable energies, retail, education, health, agriculture, agrifood, mining sectors , pharmaceuticals, banks and insurance.

From January 2012 to June 2016, Amine held the position of consultant and senior auditor at Ernst & Young (EY) in Casablanca. As part of her activities, Amine was responsible of various due diligence and auditing assignments for large national and international groups.

Amine also supervised several accounts consolidation audit assignments (consolidations under Moroccan standards and IFRS).

Amine graduated from the normal cycle of the Higher Institute of Commerce and Business Administration (ISCAE) – Major in Finance and is a memorial accountant registered with the OEC.

Deputy Managing Director

Tarik BOUAFIA

Tarik Bouafia joined RED MED Securities in November 2024 as Deputy Managing Director.
An expert in the Moroccan financial market with over 30 years of experience, he possesses extensive expertise in market operations, post-trade activities, risk management, internal control, and compliance.

Before joining RED MED Securities, Tarik held several positions at CDG Capital Bourse, where he served as Director of Risks, Compliance, and Internal Control. He was responsible for overseeing risk management related to new financial products and investment projects. His career at CDG Capital Bourse spanned more than a decade, during which he held strategic roles such as Director of Operational Business Support, overseeing post-trade activities, and Head of Back and Middle Offices, where he coordinated operational support for brokerage and account management activities.

Prior to CDG Capital Bourse, Tarik made his mark at Maroclear, where he was part of the inaugural team of the central securities depository. He led several projects, including the implementation of the stock market settlement-delivery system, and contributed to privatization projects at Wafabank, managing the Securities/UCITS section.

Tarik is a part-time lecturer at the International University of Rabat and regularly conducts sessions to prepare professionals for the Capital Markets Certification Exam. He is also actively involved in academic conferences, sharing his expertise on the functioning of the Moroccan financial market with students and professionals.

He holds an Advanced Diploma from the Banking Technical Institute (Institut Technique de Banque) and has chaired the Post-Trade Commission of the Professional Association of Brokerage Firms since 2013.

Director of Internal Control and Global Risk Management

Abdellah RIFFI

Abdellah joined Red Med Capital in November 2021.

Abdellah is in charge of the Internal Control and Global Risk Management Department.

Abdellah has an experience of 10 years at CDG Capital giving him versatility and complete knowledge of global risk management. He was Head of  Market Risk Management between 2018 and 2021 where he participated in the deployment of Value at Risk (VaR) as a global risk market monitoring tool as well as in the risk analysis of various products. Abdellah was also between 2015 and 2018, Head of the Middle Office department dedicated to market activities.

Between 2012 and 2015, as Operational Risk and BCP Manager, he ensured the implementation and deployment of operational risk management policies and systems carried by all activities of CDG Capital and its subsidiaries.

Abdellah was also Operational Risk Manager at Banque Centrale Populaire in 2011 and Operational Risk Manager at Crédit du Maroc between 2009 and 2011.

Abdellah is an engineer, graduated in 2009 from the National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (INSEA) in Rabat. He holds various international certifications in finance and risk: ARM, CFA and FRM.

Younes IJDAD

Younes joined Red Med Securities in August 2021 as Support Director.

Younes started his career in 2009 at INTEGRA BOURSE, ex MENA CP, as an information systems manager. Younes has developed strong expertise in front-to-back software applied to the stock market for over 10 years.

Younes holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from the University of Littoral Côte d’Opale in France and more than 13 certificates in Information Systems Management.

Director in Charge of Equity Management, Diversified & International

Younes EL BACHA

Younes joined Red Med Capital Asset Management team in June 2021.

He has more than ten years of experience in the field of asset management by having being senior equity and diversified manager at BMCE Capital Gestion from 2011 and assistant fund manager for a year at BNP PARIBAS Investments Partners (Paris).

Younes obtained a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Panthéon-Assas Paris II and also holds a Master’s degree in Financial and Banking Techniques.

Front Office Director

Mohamed Oualid BENABADJI

Mohamed Oualid BENABADJI joined Red Med Securities on September , 2024, as Front Office Director.

His professional career is marked by a variety of experiences, including the position of Fixed Income Trader that he held at Crédit du Maroc from 2023 to 2024, as well as the role of Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at MAROGEST from 2018 to 2020, and that of Portfolio Manager – Equity & Fixed Income at La Marocaine Vie from 2020 to 2023.

Between 2016 and 2018, he also worked as a Quantitative Research Analyst at Société Générale – Africa Technologies & Services.

Mohamed Oualid BENABADJI holds a degree in Actuarial Science and Finance, with the title of State Engineer from the Faculty of Science and Technology in Marrakech.

Director in Charge of Fixed Income Management

Intissare EL BAJTA

Intissare joined Red Med Asset Management team in June 2016.

From 2015 to 2016, Intissare worked as an asset manager at Capital Trust Gestion where she was in charge of the funds management by the implementation of various investment strategies.

Given her solid academic background in applied mathematics and optimization, combined with quantitative and analytical skills, Intissare developed a mathematical/stochastic model for the optimization of a multi assets portfolio under the VaR and CVaR constraints. This model has been chosen by the African Institute of Risk-Management (IARM) as the best master’s thesis on Quantitative Finance in Africa for the year 2015.

Intissare holds an engineering degree in financial modeling and scientific computing from Mohammedia School of Engineering.

Anass CHEMCHOUM

Anass joined Red Med Private Equity team in September 2021.

From October 2019 to August 2021, Anass participated in Due Diligence projects for PE funds and Corporates within Eight Advisory.

From 2014 to September 2019, he worked in strategy and operations consulting within Kurt Salmon and Step Consulting in Paris. He has supported several large industrial groups from the CAC40 and SBF120 in the overhaul of commercial, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing strategies. Anas also participated in the realization of several strategic and operational turnaround plans.

Anass is a general engineer from Arts et Métiers ParisTech. He is a certified Professional of Supply Chain (APICS) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ASQ).

Sami SAHIB

Sami joined Red Med Private Equity team in September 2021.

Previously, Sami was Manager in the M&A Transaction Services department of Deloitte in Casablanca. He has accumulated more than 7 years of experience, during which he executed and supervised a significant number of financial due diligence mandates for acquisitions and disposals, on behalf of investment funds and national/international corporate actors.

Having taken part in strategic transactions mainly in Morocco and Francophone Africa, Sami has been able to develop multi-sector expertise, notably covering the sectors of industry, education, private health, mass distribution, infrastructure, and telecoms.

Holder of a Grande Ecole master’s degree in Corporate Finance from ISCAE Casablanca. Sami is also a memorial accountant registered with the OEC.

Saad Achak

Saad joined Red Med Private Equity in September 2024, after gaining seven years of experience at Grant Thornton.

As a Manager in the Consulting and Key Accounts division, he carried out and supervised several financial and tax due diligence assignments. He also managed over twenty statutory audit cases, covering various sectors such as the automotive industry, agri-food, education, private clinics, and the pharmaceutical industry.

Saad holds a Master’s degree in Accounting, Control, and Auditing from IGR IAE of Rennes.

Mohamed Amine FARHANE

Prior to joining Red Med Private Equity in 2022 as an Investment Officer, Mohamed Amine Farhane started his career at ING Bank in Paris where he participated in several financing and M&A advisory assignments for large cap companies.

He then joined the private debt department of Tikehau Investment Management, where he worked on numerous leveraged buy-out operations across various sectors.

He also served as an analyst within Ascent Capital Partners in Casablanca, where he was involved in the execution of several deals in the pharmaceutical, services and agribusiness industries.

His last experience was at the strategy and M&A team of BearingPoint where he supported strategy advisory assignments across various sectors.

Mohamed Amine graduated from Grenoble Ecole de Management with a Master of Science in Finance.

Manal Ait El Kadi

Manal joined Red Med Private Equity in january 2024 for her end-of-studies internship as a junior analyst. During her internship, she actively participated in the assessment of investment opportunities, including conducting market research and sector analysis. Manal also contributed in the preparation of investment committees and assistance in portfolio company monitoring.

Manal graduated from the Grande Ecole Program at ISCAE Casablanca with a major in Corporate Finance.

Sofia GHANEM

Sofia joined the team at Red Med Asset Management in April 2024, bringing with her over six years of expertise in the field of asset management.

Before joining Red Med Capital, she held the position of Equity & Diversified Funds Manager at BMCE Capital Gestion. From 2018 to 2020, she also worked as a buy-side analyst at Sogécapital Gestion.

Sofia holds a Master of Science in Investments & Finance from Queen Mary University of London and is also a graduate of the Grande Ecole program at ENCG Casablanca, specializing in Financial and Accounting Management.

Sanae HAYEK

Sanae joined Red Med Asset Management team in November 2019.

Sanae holds the position of Money Market Manager . She manages the treasury as well as the monetary and OCT funds, in order to optimize the performance of Red Med Asset Management funds.

Sanae holds a Master’s degree in “Finance and Applied Economics” option “Banking and Financial Markets” from the International University of Rabat as well as a Bachelor in “Economics and Management” from the Mohamed V University of Rabat.

Hélène CATTEAU

Hélène CATTEAU joined Red Med Capital team in February 2024.

Before joining Red Med Capital, Hélène held the position of Internal Auditor and Management Controller at Rubis Energie (Paris). As part of her activities, Hélène was responsible of business plans, financial closings, and auditing assignments.

From 2017 to 2020, Hélène held the position of Senior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) (Lyon). Hélène was responsible of auditing assignments for large national and international groups.

Hélène holds a master’s degree with major in Corporate Finance from Emlyon Business School.

Lamyae IMLOUL

Lamyae Imloul joins Red Med Corporate Finance in January 2025.

Before joining us, Lamyae held the position of Risk Manager at Bank Al-Maghrib, within the Directorate of Monetary and Exchange Operations, since September 2021. In this role, she developed advanced models for financial risk monitoring, performance attribution, and the valuation of financial instruments.

From 2018 to 2021, Lamyae also worked as a Quantitative Analyst in the R&D department of Société Générale CIB, where she contributed to the optimization of pricing models for various financial products (Forex, interest rates, credit) and provided technical support to trading teams.

A 2018 graduate of INSEA in Operational Research and Decision Support, Lamyae has also specialized in advanced topics such as financial product valuation and credit risk management through certifications obtained from the World Bank and First Finance.

Nada ARFIK

Nada Arfik joins Red Med Corporate Finance in January 2025.

She previously held an internship as a Venture Capital Analyst at Al Mada Ventures, where she contributed to the analysis and structuring of over four transactions for a $110 million fund. She also completed an internship in Account Management at Mastercard, where she participated in strategic projects for African financial institutions.

Nada graduated from Al Akhawayn University in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance. Subsequently, she earned her Master’s degree in Corporate Financial Management from SKEMA in 2024. She also holds certifications in finance, including the CFA Investment Foundations and the Ethical Decision-Making Certificate.

Real Estate Project Manager

Mouhsine AMEURAOUI

Mouhsine AMEURAOUI joined Red Med Real Estate in November 2023.

Prior to joining our team, he served as a Project Manager at OCP Khouribga. In this role, he oversaw a variety of real estate and social projects initiated in Khouribga.

From 2018 to 2019, Mouhsine held the position of Project Engineer at Lazrak Contractors, contributing to the management and development of several real estate projects for Lazrak Immobilier.

Mouhsine holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Mohammedia School of Engineering. In addition to his professional experience, he is currently pursuing an executive master’s program, titled “BIM to CIM: From Building Performance to Territorial Management,” at the SAP+D architectural school in UM6P Benguerir.

Custodian & Post Market Manager.

Aicha DOUAMNA

Aicha joined Red Med Securities in September 2022 as Custodian & Post Market Manager.

With more than 20 years of experience in the Capital Markets business, Aicha worked from June 2003 to September 2022 in the account keeping (securities) & services at the “Banque Centrale Populaire Securities Services”. Previously,  Aicha helds the back office position at AXA Assurance Maroc from 2001 to 2003.

Aicha holds a Master’s degree in Accounting-Control and Audit from the Institute of Business Administration (IAE) of CAEN, and a Ph.D in management science.

Zineb EL ALAMI

Zineb joined the Red Med Asset Management team in January 2019.

Zineb holds the position of Middle Officer. Zineb processes, reconcile, and validates transactions made by the Front Office; validates and settles subscriptions/redemptions as well as the implementation of the yield curve and stock prices for the day.

From 2015 to 2018,  Zineb worked in the banking industry.

Zineb holds a Master’s degree in “Audit and Management Control” from ENCG Kenitra and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Sciences.

Back Office

Yousra RYOUHI

Yousra joined the Red Med Asset Management team in November 2019.

Drawing on her experience in France in the field (AXA INVESTMENT MANAGERS PARIS), Yousra accounts for and values all the portfolios and organizes the follow-up by reconciling the positions of the funds of all the transactions processed by the OPCVM.

Yousra holds a Master’s degree in “Portfolio Management” from IAE GUSTAVE EIFFEL in Paris and a Master’s degree in “Banking and Finance” from Paris 1 Sorbonne University.

Backoffice

Moncef El Ouazzani

Moncef joined the Red Med Asset Management team in August 2024. 

From 2019 to 2023, Moncef worked in the banking industry. 

Moncef holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Concordia University in Montreal, as well as a certificate in Market Finance from HEC Montreal. 

Additionally, he is currently completing an Executive master’s degree in data science for Finance from the Université Internationale de Rabat.

Jawad LAHMINI

Jawad joined the team at Red Med Securities in February 2024 as a Post-Market Executive.

In 2022, he held the position of Financial Accountant at the Maghreb Studies and Development Group in Rabat, specializing in studies and monitoring of work carried out for the government.

In 2023, he joined ALOMRA INTERNATIONAL Group as the Administrative and Financial Manager.

Jawad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management obtained in 2019 and a Master’s degree in Accounting, Control, and Auditing obtained in 2021 from the Higher Institute of Management and Commerce (ISGC) in Casablanca.

Anas ENNOUHI

Anas joined Red Med Securities team in July 2022 as a back office manager.

Anas began his professional career in audit since 2020. He successively worked at KPMG, Deloitte and Mazars. In December 2021, he joined Valoris Partners as a Junior auditor.

Anas holds a master’s degree in Audit and Management Control from the National School of Commerce and Management in Settat.

Salma OUNIB

Salma OUNIB joined the Red Med Securities team in August 2024 as a Middle Office Manager.

From 2020 to 2024, she held various positions at CIH Bank, including Cashier and later Head Cashier. During this period, she developed expertise in cash management and team supervision.

In 2019, she began her career as a Research Officer at Salafin, where she gained her first hands-on experience in the financial sector.

Salma OUNIB holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and Auditing, and a Master’s degree in Accounting, Control, and Auditing.

Internal Controller

Taoufik EL HASNAOUI

Taoufik joined Red Med Asset Management in May 2023.

Taoufik began his career in market finance at MSIN Bourse, where he completed his end-of-studies project. Subsequently, he strengthened his skills in modeling and market finance through an internship at CDG Capital Gestion.

Taoufik holds a Master’s degree in “Finance and Banking” with a focus on “Applied Banking and Finance,” as well as a Fundamental Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking from Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech. In addition to this, he is currently working on his Doctorate with the theme “Machine Learning in Market Finance” at ENCG Settat.

Compliance & Internal Control Manager

Asmaa BOUGHABI

Asmaa joined the Red Med Asset Management team in August 2015.

Since then, Asmaa has held the position of Internal Controller. She is responsible for having the provisions of the AMMC circulars implemented as well as the internal and contractual provisions. Asmaa controls all operations carried out, verifies their compliance with current regulations, and draws up a map of operational risks.

From 2010 to 2015, Asmaa held the position of Portfolio Manager in the insurance sector. As part of her activities, she was responsible for auditing and contract management.

Asmaa holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Money & Finance from Mohamed V University of Economics, Legal and Social Sciences in Rabat.

Samira KROUD

Samira a rejoint Red Med Securities en Août 2021 en tant que responsable du contrôle interne .

Samira a intégré le marché des capitaux en 2007, en qualité de responsable du Contrôle Interne, tout d’abord au sein de la société de bourse VALORIS SECURITIES pour une période de 10ans, puis a rejoint Mena Capital Partners pour les mêmes fonctions.

Samira possède une bonne vue d’ensemble du domaine, grâce à sa longue expérience de 14 ans réussie au sein de la cellule risque réglementaire et opérationnel.

Samira détient un diplôme de cadre supérieur préparé en 4 ans à l’école de gestion IGA à Casablanca .

Ghizlane EL QOUMARI

Ghizlane joined Red Med Private Equity in August 2021.

She started her professional career with Fidaroc Grant Thornton. As part of her activities, she has carried out several financial audits and internal control missions which have enabled her to have solid technical expertise in the regulatory field.

Ghizlane holds a master’s degree in audit accounting control from the Institute of Higher Management Studies (HEM) in Casablanca.

Yassine MAZNAOUI

Yassine joined Red Med Asset Management team in November 2018.

With more than 13 years of experience in different business sectors, Yassine holds the position of Administrative & Financial Manager. As part of his activities, Yassine mainly coordinates and supervises accounting, fund management and treasury.
